Shaquille Rush was a bright young man who rarely left his house in Auburn Gresham according to his mother, Dorothy Rush.Shaquille Rush loved spending time with his two brothers and his sister, his mother said. He also loved to rap, and would often write lyrics and mix beats on his computer. His uncle was one of his favorite people to make music with, she addedHe was a very outgoing person, very spirited,” his mother said. “He always had a smile on his face, [he was] never mad and he always made people laugh.Shaquille Rush attended Paul Robeson High School in Englewood but did not graduate, his mother said. He planned to get his GED and to attend Kennedy-King College someday, she said. He left behind an infant son, who celebrated his first birthday in September.
